Content Guidelines
To ensure quality and consistency, please follow these guidelines for all submissions.
Word Count and Originality
Articles should generally be between 800 and 1500 words. All submissions must be 100% original work, created exclusively for APID.ae.
Do not submit content that has been published elsewhere, including on personal blogs or other websites. We require exclusive publishing rights for all accepted articles.
Sourcing and Accuracy
All factual claims must be accurate and supported by credible sources. Please cite any data, statistics, or direct quotes properly.
Unattributed claims or vague references will require revision. We prioritize well-researched content that offers genuine value to our readers.
Formatting Preferences
Please structure your article with clear subheadings to break up the text. Use short paragraphs, typically 2-4 sentences each. Bullet points and numbered lists improve readability.
Submit your article as a clean Word document. Do not use excessive bolding or complex formatting. We will handle final styling during the editing process.
Images
High-resolution images enhance an article. If you provide images, ensure they are relevant, high quality, and that you have all necessary rights for publication.
Include proper captions and credit information for all visual assets. Submit images separately as JPG or PNG files, not embedded in the document.
What We Do Not Accept
Please avoid submitting content that falls into these categories.
- Promotional articles, advertorials, or press releases
- AI-generated content or content heavily reliant on AI tools
- Previously published work, even on personal platforms
- Content with unverified claims or poor sourcing
- Material unrelated to professional interior design or the APID.ae niche
- Content that is offensive, discriminatory, or inappropriate
Submission Process
Submit your article ideas or completed drafts to our editorial team. We recommend sending a query letter first with your proposed topic and a brief outline.

- Include a brief author bio (50-75 words) and any relevant links to your professional portfolio or website.
- Attach your article as a Microsoft Word document (.doc or .docx).
- Attach any accompanying images as separate, high-resolution JPG or PNG files.
Review Timeline and Compensation
Our editorial team reviews all submissions. We aim to respond to queries within 5 business days and to full drafts within 2-3 weeks.
Not all submissions will receive a personal reply. We appreciate your patience during the review process. Compensation details for accepted articles are discussed upon acceptance and prior to publication.
